1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c egg whites (Beat until foamy)
1 c. sugar (sift together)
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 c. cold water
1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar.

Directions:
Directions:
When whites are stiff but not dry then add 1 c. sugar 1/4 c at a time & beat after each addition, Then fold in sifted flour and sugar by 1/4 Tbls and fold this in & keep turning pan

Bake 350 for 45 min.
