1 c. shredded coconut
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 German Chocolate cake mix (see directions below)
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. self-rising flour
2 sticks margarine
1 - 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. confectioners sugar
2 tbsp. Heresy's cocoa
1 tbsp. light Karo syrup
2 c. confectioners sugar

Mix cake as directed on package with these changes; 1 egg, 1/2 c. sugar, and 1/2 c. self rising flour. Set mixture aside. Spray 9 X 13 pan with Pam, scatter coconut and pecans in pan. Pour cake mixture over coconut and pecans. Melt 1 stick of margarine and add softened cream cheese & sugar mixing until well blended. Drop this mixture by spoonfuls over the batter (about 12 dollops). Bake at 325º for about 1 hour. Topping for cake: Melt 1 stick margarine in pan, add 2 tbsp. chocolate, add 1 tbsp. Karo and about 2 c. confectioners sugar for the right consistency. Pour on top of cake.
