1 1/2 cups water 1 1/2 cups sugar 4 tbsps cornstarch 1 large box strawberry jello 1 quart fresh strawberrys 2 baked regular pie shells coolwhip (opt)

Directions:
Directions:
mix together cornstarch and sugar add water. cook until gets thick stirring constantly over med-high heat. remove from heat add box of jello let completely cool. add strawberries that have been sliced in half to cooled mixture. dip into baked and cooled pie shells. makes 2 pies add cool whip (opt) before serving. keep refrigerated.
