2 cans (16 oz.) sliced peaches, drained
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Grease a 13x9x2 inch pan. Place peaches in bottom of pan and sprinkle with nutmeg. Sift together sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine butter, egg, and milk. Stir in sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Spoon batter evenly over peaches. Bake at 400º F. for 30 minutes.
