1/2 c. shortening, softened
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. molasses or honey (optional)
4 eggs
2 c. milk
3 c. bran
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. wheat flakes
2 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder

Directions:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Add milk. Add all dry ingredients. Mix well and put in muffin tins. Bake 17 minutes at 400.
