5 Tbsp. butter
1 c. water ground cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1 c. cold milk
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Put butter in medium-sized earthenware or glass baking dish and place in oven to melt while you prepare batter. Combine cornmeal and salt in mixing bowl and stir in boiling water until smooth. Let stand several minutes, then stir in milk. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating hard after each addition. Stir in melted butter last. Pour batter into the hot baking dish and bake 25-30 min. Serve hot with loads of butter.
