2 Cups of Old Fashion Oatmeal 1 Cup Sugar 1 Cup Butter or Lard 6 tsp. Sour Milk 1/2 tsp. Cloves 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 2 eggs 2 Cups Flour 1 tsp. soda 1 Cup raisins
Preheat oven to 350º Melt butter or lard and while still hot pour over oatmeal. Stir. Mix together dry ingredients then add along with sour milk into mixture. Drop by spoonful's onto cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes.
This is one of Grandma Rapsons collection of cookie recipes and came from her sister Martha, who got it from her husbands mother.
