2 cans chickpeas (drained)
juice of one large lemon
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1/4 c. tahini (a.k.a. sesame seed paste)
2 tbsp. olive oil
1/4 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients except water in a food processor. Beat the fire out of it until your family screams for mercy from the noise of the machine or until smooth, adding water sparingly as needed as different brands of chickpeas vary in their consistency. Serve with warm fresh pita or cut veggies!
