1/4 lb magarine
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs
4 c flour (minus 2 tbsp)
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp soda (mix in a little warm water--and add after above as been mixed well together)

1 1/2 c raisins
1 1/2 c currants
1 c cold coffee

Directions:

Mix first 6 ingredients together. Add raisins, currants, coffee and and stir until blended. Spoon batter into 2 large greased loaf pans

Cook in 300º oven for 1 hour.
