1/2 lb. (8 oz.) fresh scallops
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. oregano
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 (16 oz.) cans diced tomatoes
Salt and pepper to taste
1 lb. angel hair pasta

In large skillet combine olive oil, bell pepper and garlic and sauge until tender. Add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil for 1 minute. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add scallops and simmer an additional 3 minutes.

Bring 4/5 quarts of water to a boil, with a light handful of salt added. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on the top, then add pasta. Boil until pasta is al dente, drain and place in a decorative serving dish. Pour scallop sauce, covering the center area and top with your favorite garnish.
