6 pork chops
3/4c. regular uncooked rice
1 1/2c. water
1(8oz) tomato sauce
1 pkg. taco seasoning
1 1/2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
1 small sliced onion
1 small sliced green pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a skillet, brown pork chops on both sides; salt and pepper to taste. Drain well> Place pork chops in baking dish. Sprinkle rice around pork chops. Combine water, tomato sauce and taco seasoning in a separate bowl. Pour over pork chops and rice. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes in a 350º oven. Uncover and sprinkle onion, green peppers and cheese on top. Cover and cook 15 minutes more. May substitute boneless, skinless chicken breasts for pork chops.
