1 C. MILK OR HALF & HALF
1 C. HEAVY CREAM
2 C. GRATED FRESH PARMESAN CHEESE
OR OFF THE SHELF WORKS FINE TOO
2 TABLESPOONS FLOUR
3 TABLESPOONS BUTTER OR MARGARINE
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE

OPTIONAL

2 CANS (6 OZ.) WHITE CRAB MEAT-MY FAVORITE
SMALL TAILLESS SHRIMP
1 PACKAGE IMITATION CRAB MEAT

COOK FETTUCCINE ACCORDING TO PACKAGE

1. COMBINE MILK/HALF & HALF IN A SAUCEPAN UNTIL WARM. DO NOT BOIL. YOU CAN DO THIS IN THE MICROWAVE.

2. MELT BUTTER IN A SAUCEPAN. WHISK FLOUR INTO BUTTER UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD HEATED MILK/CREAM INTO FLOUR MIXTURE. WHISK OR STIR CONSTANTLY UNTIL MIXTURE COMES TO A BOIL. SIMMER OVER LOW HEAT FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL SAUCE IS SLIGHTLY THICKENED.

3. REMOVE FROM HEAT STIR IN PARMESAN CHEESE, SALT, PEPPER, AND ANY OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS.
