Bars: 1 pkg Devils Food cake mix
24 oz can cherry pie filling
1 tsp almond extract
2 eggs, beaten
Frosting: 1 cup sugar
5 Tbsp butter or margarine
1/3 cup milk
6 oz pkg (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease & flour jellyroll or 9 x 13 inch baking dish. In large bowl, combine all bar ingredients. Stir until well mixed. Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Let cool on a wire race. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, butter & milk. Bring to a boil; boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over bars. Cool. Cut into bars & serve.
