Two cut up chickens (or use about 8 chicken breasts)
1/2 c. flour
2 T. to 1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 bottle of chili sauce
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. cooking sherry
1 can dark sweet pitted cherries, drained

Use cut up chicken or chicken breasts. Sauce is enough for 2 chickens. Dust chicken with flour and brown. Remove and place in deep dish. In same pan combine butter or margarine (you may use less, or you may just use a little oil), Worcestershire sauce, chili sauce, onion, water, brown sugar, and garlic powder. Pour over chicken and bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 325º.
Uncover. Add cooking sherry and cherries.Bake uncovered an additional 1/2 hour. Serve with Cheese Potatoes (vegetable section)
