1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1 pkg. Taco seasoning mix
1 head lettuce
1 avocado cut in pieces
1 tomato chopped
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 can kidney beans or black beans drained
Doritos or Tostitos
Western Dressing or Sour Cream Dressing

Brown beef and drain well. Add taco seasoning mix. Prepare according to seasoning mix instructions.

Mix together the salad ingredients and toss. Add the dressing of you choice (see note) toss. Break up the Doritos or Tostitos. Add to salad just prior to serving and toss with Western Dressing or Sour Cream dressing.

Sour Cream Dressing:
Mix together 1/2 cup sour cream and 1/4 cup of Thick & Smooth Taco sauce.
