1 lb Hamburger
1 cup onions
11/4 quart water
1 cup carrot
cup celery
cup cabbage
1 lb stewed tomatoes (2 cans)
1/4 cup Barley
Bay leaf
1/4 tsp thyme
1/4 tsp basil
5 tsp salt
tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger and drain. Add to pot with remaining ingredients, cook to boiling. Simmer for 20-30 minutes.
