Cranberry Bread Recipe

2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c sugar
2 T hot water
1 beaten egg
1/2 c orange juice
2 T melted butter
1 c whole fresh cranberries
grated rind of 2 oranges or 1 1/2 T dried peel
1/2 c walnuts

Mix together the first 5 ingredients. Add hot water, egg, orange juice, and melted butter. Blend thoroughly. Fold in whole cranberries, orange peel and nuts. Bake at 325 in greased and floured loaf pan for 1 hour - 1 hour 10 minutes.
