Directions:
Cream together butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in chocolate syrup & vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder & salt. Gradually stir into creamed mixture. Stir in walnuts.
Pour mixture in greased 151/2" x 101/2" x 1" jelly roll pan.
Bake in moderate oven (350) 30 mins or until it tests done. Cool well.
Remove cake from pan & cut in half, making two 71/2" x 5" pieces. Spread ice cream over one layer & top with other layer. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil & freeze. Before serving, cut into 3 sections. Cut each section into 8 slices. Makes 24 slices.
