3 1/2 c flour
3 t baking powder
1 t salt
2 eggs
1 c sugar
2 T shortening, melted and cooled
1 c mashed potatoes
2/3 c milk
1 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, powder, and salt. Beat eggs until light. Gradually add sugar while beating. Beat until light and fluffy. Add shortening. Mix well. Combine potatoes, milk, and vanilla. Mix in dry ingred. Mix well. Roll dough a little at a time 1/3" thick. Fry in deep fat.
