Ingredients:  
12 to 15 potatoes (regular size) peeled and rinsed
16 to 24 oz. large slice of ham (pre-packaged in the
meat section) sliced into bite size pieces

Mix together:

2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans of cream of onion soup
1/2 cup milk (or more, but keep reasonably thick)
salt and pepper

In a large buttered oven safe dish, layer sliced potatoes, ham and soup mixture. Top with pats of butter (1 stick total)

Bake at 375º for about one hour (or until potatoes start getting soft). Stir occasionally. Let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
