Ingredients:
1/2 roll ground sausage
1 pkg refrigerated canned crescent rolls

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Open crescent rolls and spread onto cookie sheet. Pinch perforations together to make a rectangle. Spread uncooked sausage (only half of the roll) onto the dough, covering all. This can take a little time. Roll the dough like a jelly roll, slice about 1/2 inch rolls. Place them on cookie sheet and bake until brown. Usually 10-15 minutes. Serve warm.

Personal Notes:
I usually buy two packages of crescent rolls so that I can use the other half of the sausage roll. These also freeze well. Just warm them in the microwave. I have used turkey sausage, also. The best sausage is Smithfield's ham sausage. Unfortunately, we cannot find it in Bainbridge.
