3 lbs fully cooked ham
22 whole cloves
1 teaspoon pepper
1/2 cup ginger ale
1/2 cup lemon curd
2 Tablespoons finely minced crystallized ginger

Directions:
Directions:
- score outside of ham and stud with cloves
- sprinkle with pepper
- place ham in slow cooker with ginger ale
- combine lemon curd and crystallized ginger
-spread 1/2 lemon curd mixture over ham and chill remainder
- cook ham on high-heat setting for 1 hour
- reduce to low-heat setting and cook for 4 hours
- remaining lemon curd mixture over ham
- cook on high-heat setting for 1/2 hour
- remove ham and let stand for 15 minutes
serve with cooking liquid
