1 lb dry pinto beans
Ham bone

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans and put into large saucepan. Cover with water. Bring to a boil. Rinse beans in colander and return to pan. Cover with water (at least 4 times as deep as beans. Add ham bone. Bring to boil again. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 or more hours, until beans are tender.

Serve with Southern Cornbread in bread section. Put a wedge of cornbread on your plate. Cover with
beans. Top with onion slices, separated into rings.
