2 c sugar
11/2 c water
1 c light corn syrup
1 tsp salt
2 tsp glycerine (from drug store)
1 tsp vailla
2 T butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in heavy saucepan. Cook to 258ºF. Remove from heat for 2-3 minutes, add vanilla and butter. Stir. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet. Cool until it can be handled. Butter hands, pull taffy until white and pliable. Vaious flavors and food coloring can be added as you pull it. Cut unto 1 inch pieces and wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap.
