24 slices baguette or small French bread (1/4 to inch thick)
2 tbsp. olive oil
c. mayonnaise
c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. fresh chives, chopped
2-4 tbsp. capers, drained and washed off
tsp. garlic powder
lb. roast beef, thinly sliced and cooked
fresh chives, chopped
4 medium tomatoes, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet; brush lightly with oil.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until crisp.
Cook 5 minutes or until completely cooled.

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, cheese, 2 tbsp. chives, capers, and garlic powder; mix well.

Mayonnaise mixture tends to be a little on the skimpy side, so be generous with the mayo, capers, etc.
Spread mayonnaise mixture onto bread slices, and top with roast beef and tomato slice. Garnish with chives.
