1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 lb. asparagus, trimmes and cut on the diagonal into 1 inch slices
4 oz. butter
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 tsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Bring 3 qt. of water to a boil and 1 tsp of the salt. Place the asparagus into the boiling water and cook 2 to 3 minutes (no longer) and drain thoroughly. Then melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the asparagus, remaining salt and pepper, lemon juice and soy sauce. Toss like a salad with two spatulas for 1 to 2 minutes until all ingredients are well-combined and asparagus is heated through and tender. Serve immediately.
