1 c. oil (vegetable)
1 1/3 c. sugar
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 1/3 cups flour
6 teasp. baking powder
3 pinches salt

Frosting
2 tbsp. Crisco
2 tbsp. Butter
3/4 box of Confectionery Sugar

Glaze
5 1/3 cups powdered sugar
2 2/3 lemon extract
3 pinch salt
8-11 tablespoons of warmed milk or cream

Cookies -Preheat over 350º. Whisk eggs, oil, sugar and extract. Fold in baking powder and flour work with wooden spoon. Add more flour if too moist. Flour hands and take small amounts of batter (like a meatball) place on ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheet Bake @ 350º for about 9 minutes. Tops should be white and bottoms very lightly brown.
Remove and cool completely on racks.

Frosting - Blend Crisco and butter begin to add sugar moistening with milk stirring with a butter knife until frosting is creamy. If you wish to flavor the frosting with lemon, almond, anise or vanilla extract to so before adding the milk. Frost cookies when they have cooled.

Glaze cookies dip the tops of the cookies in glaze then top with sprinkles of.

Cookie should be pale with a very light brown bottom. Do not over bake. You can also shape the cookie dough into “s” shape or knots.
