2 Tubes crescent rolls
1lb Italian sausage or ground beef
6oz Marinara sauce or pizza sauce
1 pkg Chopped spinach –thawed & drained
1 8oz Ricotta cheese
1 Egg
1 cup Fresh grated parmesano reggiano
1-2 cups Grated mozzarella cheese
Fresh herbs to taste (oregano basil thyme)

In a 9x13 baking dish spray bottom with cooking spray. Open the crescent roll tubeunroll the dough, spread it so that it covers the bottom of the dish
and press it up the sides of dish to make a crust . Open the second tube of rolls & divide it in half and place at each end of the dish

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Cook and drain the sausage. Place the sausage back in the pan and add the sauce and spinach, gently simmer for 2-3 min then remove from heat.
Meanwhile mix together in bowl the ricotta , 1 egg and half the parmesan and herbs until blended

Place meat mixture on bottom of prepared dish, spread cheese mixture on top and cover with grated mozzarella pull the dough up and partially cover the filling

Bake in oven for 30 min,
