Place (12) ice cream sandwiches in a 9x12 baking pan. Spread half of the Cool Whip over the ice cream sandwiches. Layer the other (12) Ice Cream sandwiches and top with the remaining Cool Whip. Sprinkle the top with chopped pecans, Hershey's chocolate or crushed M&M's. Place in Freezer
