4 slices bacon
1 c chopped onion
1 c chopped green pepper
1 c chopped celery
1 14 1/2oz can tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 16oz can black-eyed peas, drained
2-3 tsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in large skillet till crisp. Reserve drippings. Crumble bacon and set aside. Saute onion, pepper, and celery in drippings till tender. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook over low heat 10-15 min, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
