3-4 lbs. beef roast, cubed
1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp pepper
3 carrots, sliced
1-2 medium onions, cut into wedges
4-6 medium potatoes, cubed
4 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
10 oz. pkg. frozen vegetables
10.5 oz. can condensed beef broth
1/2 cup water
2 tsp. brown sugar
14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes with juice
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup water

- Toss beef cubes with 1/3 cup flour, salt, and pepper in slow cooker
- Combine all vegetables except tomatoes, add to meat.
- Combine beef broth, 1/2 cup water, and brown sugar, pour over meat and vegetables. Add tomatoes and stir carefully.
- Cover. Cook on low 10-14 hours or on high 4-5 1/2 hours.
- One hour before serving, mix together 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup water, stir into slow cooker. Turn temperature to high. Cover and cook remaining time.
