6 potatoes (baked & scrape out pulp)
1 lb. bacon (crumble)
Half & Half ( 1 pt.)
cheddar cheese (5 oz grated)
milk ( 1 1/2 qt.)
butter (2/3 c.)
flour (2/3 c.)
onion (chopped)
shallots ( 4 chopped)
sour cream (8 oz)

make a white roux with butter & flour. gradually add milk. 4 to 6 cups water). add bacon, cheddar cheese, onion, shallos and sour ceam. add potataoes; salt and pepper to taste.
