1 c. flour
1/2 -1 c. finely packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine (softened)
FILLING: 8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese (softened)
1/2 tsp almond extract
1 c. powdered sugar
21 oz can (2 c.) cherry pie filling
1 c. whipping cream, whipped and sweetened

Preheat oven to 375º. In 13 x 9 pan, combine first 4
ingredients. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown; stir once
while baking. Reserve 1/2 c. crumbs for top. Using a spoon,
firmly press remaining warm crumb mixture into ungreased 9
or 10 inch pie plate. Chill crust. In medium bowl, blend first 3
filling ingredients until smooth. Spread over crust. Fold pie
filling into whipped cream. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Chill 1 to 2 hours
before serving. Store in refrigerator.

If I need a larger dessert, I double the recipe and put it in a 9 x 13
pan. It is delicious!
