"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

4 Thick cut pork chops
Candied Walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Wash pork and coat with brown sugar completely. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 35 - 40 minutes in a 350 degree oven. In a separate sauce pan melt a cube or better of butter and mix in a cup of brown sugar. When pork chops are done place on plates and pour the hot brown sugar over the top. Put the candied walnuts over the pork. I usually serve the pork with Hot Apples and Garlic Mashed potatoes.
