1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter until creamy; add sugars; mixing well. add egg and vanilla.

Combine flour, soda, and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture; stir in pecans. Cover and chill 30 minutes.

Shape dough into 1 inch balls; place on ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
