3 lb beef roast
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 bottle catsup ( 1 1/2 c)
1/2 c water ( rinse catsup bottle)
1/2 c worcestershire sauce
1/4 c vinegar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
2 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp dry mustard
2 tsp liquid smoke

Mix all ingredients in large Dutch oven. Place meat in sauce, turn to coat all sides. Bring to bubbling, over medium heat. Reduce heat. Cover tightly and simmer gently over heat until fork tender. Turn meat several times during cooking, adding water if needed to keep sauce desired consistency. Allow 2 1/2 to 3 hrs cooking time. When done remove meat to cutting board cool 20 min for eacy slicing spoon fat from top of sauce. Slice meat thinly across grain and return to sauce. Cover and heat to desired temperature. Spoon meat and sauce between halves of buttered buns.
