2 1/2 cups water
6 tablespoons instant coffee
3 cups sugar
5 teaspoons vanilla
2 1/2 cups vodka
1 cup brandy

Directions:
Combine 1 1/2 cups water and coffee; set aside.

Make a simple syrup by bringing 1 cup water and sugar to boil. when clear, remove from heat and let stand until just warm. Add vanilla and coffee.

Combine vodka and brandy in a clean 2 quart container. Add coffee mixture. Cover and let stand in a cool, dark place for at least 1 month before serving.
