1 c brown sugar, firmly packed
6 slices bread, quartered, no crust
2 tbsp butter, melted
1/2 c raisins
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 c milk
1/2 c evaporated milk
1/8 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla

Press sugar in bottom of 8 X 8 baking dish. Place
bread on top. Drizzle with butter. Sprinkle with raisins and cinnamon. Mix milk, salt, eggs, and
vanilla together. Pour gently over bread. Bake 40 -
45 minutes at 350. This makes its own caramel
