6 cups cored and pared apples (tart)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
2/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange apples in greased shallow baking dish about 10 x 6 x 2". Sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour lemon juice and corn syrup over. Combine flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter until the mixture is the consistency of coarse corn meal. Top apples with this mixture. Bake uncovered at 350º for 1 hour until apples are tender.
Serve warm with sour cream.
