1/2 C chopped onion 1 can chicken broth
1/4 C butter 1 tsp Worcestershire
1/4 C flour 3 C shredded
Cheddar(Sharp)
2 10oz pkgs frozen broccoli,
thawed and well drained 2 C half and half
2 C water salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large kettle or Dutch oven; cook onion in butter until tender; stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add chicken broth and water, then broccoli. Over medium heat cook and stir until broccoli is tender, about 10 minutes. Add cheese and cream. Cook and stir until cheese is melted. Do not boil. Fresh broccoli can be used; chop and partially cook before using.
