"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Brown ground beef. Drain and rinse. Add taco seasoning. Bring to simmer. Put 1/2" oil in skillet; heat until fleck of water "dances" on the oil. Lay flour tortilla flat in oil. Cook until brown and then flip; fold over to form taco shell and cook side of taco until brown. Flip again to brown other side of taco. Drain oil from taco shell and place in 9x13" pan lined by paper towels. May keep warm in oven until ready. When the football team or cheerleading squad arrives, serve buffet style with ground beef on the stove and tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, black olives set up on counter. Everybody fill own tacos to personal preference.
