3 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
2 tsp. salt
1 1lb. can pumpkin
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 cup corn oil
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
3 1/2 cups flour (AP)
2/3 cups water
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans - optional

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, oil, eggs. Beat until creamy. Add pumpkin and beat until blended.

Sift together dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture. Add water (you may not need it all).

Pour into three greased loaf pans.

Bake at 350º for 1 hour.
