1 2/3 cups sugar
2/3 cup evaporated milk
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups miniature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/4 cup crushed peppermint candy

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy sauce pan, mix together the sugar, milk, butter and salt. Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a boil. Stir boiling mixture constantly for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla, and peppermint extract. Stir until the marshmallows are melted. Pour into a foil lined 8 inch square pan and allow to cool for several minutes. sprinkle the crushed peppermint candy on top and lightly press into fudge so that the candy still visible. Allow to cool completely before serving.
