1 1/2 lbs hamburger
Onion - one small, chopped
2 cans tomato soup
1 large can of tomatoes
1 can of kidney beans
Salt
Pepper
Chili Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the hamburger with the onion and salt and pepper to taste.
When the hamburger is browned, add the soup, the canned tomatoes and the kidney beans.
Season with chili powder to taste.
Heat through and serve with saltine crackers.

This is another recipe I don't have exact measurements for. Please adjust for your family.

I call this chili North Dakota style because the only people I know who made it this way are Mom and Richard's mom. Down here in Louisville I don't think they would even call it chili, it would be soup. And they put cooked spaghetti in their chili. Never heard of that before.
