1 gal medium cucumbers
1 green pepper
8 small onions
1 red sweet pepper
1/2 c coarse med. salt
2 trays ice cubes


Brine:
5 c vinegar
2 tbsp mustard seed
1 1/ tsp tumeric
1/2 tsp ground cloves
5 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and slice cukes. Add onions and peppers, cut in narrow strips or rings.
Add coarse salt.
Cover with 2 trays ice cubes, cracked.
Mix thoroughly. Let stand 3 hours. Drain.
Combine brine ingredients. Bring to boil.
Add cucumber mixture and bring to boil.
Pack in jars. Seal tightly.
