1 Cup Water
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Cup Raisins
1 TSP Cinnamon
1 TSP Nutmeg
1 TSP Allspice

2 Cups Flour
2 TSP Baking Powder
1/2 TSP Salt
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix water, shortening, sugar, raisins and spices in a pan and bring to a boil. Add 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts. Stir and mix well. pour into 9x13 cake pan.

Bake 375º for 30 or until done.
