2 cups all purpose flour, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1 cup coarsely cut cranberries, 1/2 cup pecans, 1 tsp orange peel.

Directions:
Sift 2 cups sifted all purpose flour with 3/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp slt, and 1/2 tsp soda. Stir in 1 cup coarsely cut cranberries, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and 1 tsp grated orange peel. Combine 1 beated egg, 3/4 cup orange juice, and 2 tbsp salad oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just till moistened. Bake in grased 9 1/2 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan in moderate oven of 350º 50 minutes or till done. Remove from pan and cool.
