2 boxes stuffing mix for turkey OR chicken
1 small bag Pepperidge Farms Herbed Stuffing
4 celery ribs
1 LARGE onion
1 cup broken up pecans (optional)
poultry seasoning to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Slice celery ribs lengthwise (one end to the other), into 4-5 thin strips. Cut ACROSS strips into small pieces. Slice onion thinly, then chop into small pieces. When measuring water, reduce amount by cup. Put water in pan and add seasoning packet (if included in the box), celery, onion, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and turn the stove OFF. Remove pan from burner and add pecans. Add bread cubes from box and toss well until all is moist. If it seems too moist, add some of the Pepperidge Farms Herbed Stuffing and toss again. If it needs more flavor, now is the time to add extra poultry seasoning to taste.

REMEMBER: The stuffing will absorb some of the juices from the turkey, so it is best to have it as DRY as possible before adding to the bird.

This recipe is ample for a 22-24 lb. turkey.
