3 C. frozen, shredded hash brown potatoes
2 tbsp. all purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. water
salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Thaw hash browns in a strainer; drain thoroughly (pat dry with paper towels). Transfer to a large bowl. Add the flour, eggs, butter, water, and salt/pepper to taste. Mix well. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Drop batter by 1/3 cupfuls into oil; fry until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
