1 C uncooked Rice 1 1/2 Hamburger 1 tsp salt pepper 1 tsp Chili Powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 chopped onion 1/2 lb grated cheese (your choice) 1 lg can stewed tomatoes 1/3 C seasoned Bread Crumbs
Grease deep casserole dish and put rice in bottom. Brown hamburger with onion, salt, pepper, chili powder, and garlic powder. Drain, layer over rice. Layer grated cheese over meat. Pour stewed tomatoes over cheese. Sprinkle more grated cheese and bread crumbs on top.
Cover Bake 300º 2 hrs
Aunt Louise Trail gave this recipe to me when Rocky and I were first married and living in Moscow.
